This is a
basic awareness raising session in promoting welfare and safeguarding
children. Its aim is to enable participants to recognise concerns about
children and respond appropriately. All workers who come into contact
with children, young people and parents require this training.
By the end of the course you will:
Be aware of what is meant by child abuse and neglect
Be aware of your role in keeping children safe.
Be able to take the right steps to protect children
Be able to provide a safe environment for the children you work with.
