‘Meet and Eat’ - Faith and friendship walk

Join FaithsUnited on a short riverside stroll followed by a shared picnic
FaithsUnited (Tameside) in conjunction with the Tameside Countryside Service are holding a Faith and Friendship Walk to explore and appreciate our environment in particular our sources of water.
The plan for the afternoon includes a good fairly easy circular walk that follows the River Medlock and the old canal to Daisy Nook and back. There is also an option for anyone wanting to do half the walk, to meet the walk at Daisy Nook. We plan to have some ‘water related’ activities in and around the centre for anyone who cannot walk. The day will end with a shared picnic and is a real opportunity to make new friends and learn about others.
This event is open to all Tameside residents irrespective of a faith or not.
