Meet the funder event – Children and Young People’s Funding
Thursday 22 May 2008
5.30pm – 7pm at T3SC (Meeting Room 1)

Does your group work with or support children and young people? If so, then come along to find out what funding opportunities are available to you!

They’ll be information and presentations about local grant schemes including Youth Opportunities Fund grants and Youth Action Grants. In addition we’ll be launching our new Children and Young People’s Funding Guide and giving you an overview of other sources of funding (large and small) for children and young people’s activities and project.

Health is for life Grant - deadline 30 May

The Health is for Life Community Grant is for community/voluntary organisations, children’s centres, schools or nurseries to develop new projects with a health focus. The Scheme is keen to fund innovative projects and welcomes applications that involve imaginative ways of promoting health in local communities.

Grants of to £5,000 are available for projects, which have a clear outcome of improving people’s health.

Application forms are available from T3SC, contact Naomi or Stuart on 0161 339 4985 or email stuart.vaughan@t3sc.org. The forms are available electronically and can be downloaded from the Primary Care Trust's website www.tamesideandglossop.nhs.net. T3SC can also help you with your application form.
