Faith Fun Day
Saturday 12 July, 12pm-4pm, King George's Playing Fields, Ashton

This exciting event will have stalls, food, sports, a bouncy castle and entertainment. There will be food from different faiths and a programme of entertainment including bands, dance, performances and puppets. The Fun Day is hoping to help bring about community cohesion and an understanding of different faiths and cultures in Tameside.

Fundraising day for Jamie
27 July, Chapman Arms Public House, Hattersley

Jamie Tregaskiss one of Hattersley U13’s Football Team players has recently been diagnosed with bone cancer. He is half way through his chemo. To help him in the future and to raise some money for bone cancer, we are holding a Fund Raising Day on Sunday 27 July 2008 at the Chapman Arms Public House, Chapman Road, Hattersley, 4pm - 7pm, part of the day will be a blind auction of sports memorabilia.
