Your feedback on the E-Bulletin and Newsletter Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete the questionnaire on T3SC Newsletter and E-Bulletin. We really appreciate your comments. Here is a quick breakdown of the results and changes we have brought in as a result. 95% of respondents felt the communications help to increase their knowledge and increase awareness of local events and key issues affecting groups. One respondent even commented,' Its one of the things T3SC does the best.' Everybody who received both the E-Bulletin and Newsletter said the language was easy to read and overall said the articles were the right length. The most popular sections of the
Newsletter are (in order): Due to these results we have decided to move the National news section to the E-Bulletin and to increase our Local News which includes information on local voluntary and community groups. We will still include some information about funding and funding successes in the Newsletter. However the best way to keep up to date with funding opportunities is to receive our Funding Bulletin which is sent out with our E-Bulletin every month. Overall you voted to keep both the paper and email version of the Newsletter. We will be keeping both versions and have also followed your suggestion of having the E-Bulletin monthly and the Newsletter quarterly. The comments we received were generally very positive and we are taking them all on board and hope to continuously improve both formats of communication. If you do have any future feedback or suggestions on the Newsletter or E-Bulletin please email Hannah Powell.

Children and Young People Summary Plan 2007 – 2010 Young people from Astley Sports College in Dukinfield were asked to review Tameside’s Children’s and Young People’s Plan 2007 -2010 and to make a child friendly version.
The group read the adult version and then gave their understandings of it and they learnt about what the Every Child Matters five Outcomes mean. They also had a photo shoot, designed to make the front cover and then they went on a reward trip to celebrate their achievement. Did the children
and young people enjoy it? A copy can be found at www.tameside-sid.org.uk and booklets will also be placed in libraries and children’s centres across the borough.
Final Statement by children and young people We feel this plan makes sense and there are some really good things in it. The plan will give us a better chance of being healthy, safe, listened to and more involved, and to encourage us to be the best we can be'. The North West Big Drink Debate
