Aims: To develop a close multi-disciplinary working relationship Majority of Issues aimed at the Police Authority

To develop the community and gain input (Unless otherwise stated)

To clarify roles and engage in debates and forums

All Areas	What is the law on mini motorcycles?	Ø Require the same documentation as motor bikes. Ø Driving Licence needed. Ø Public Perception that they are toys, trying to combat this through education and information.

All Areas	How can residents report incidence in confidence?	Ø One to one: Neighbourhood officers. Ø Anonymous: through crime stoppers

All Areas	Alcohol Issues	Ø Bus shelter vandalism: GMPTE responsible. (part of partnership) Ø Share information where incidents happen and partnership work with the police to tackle these issue

Tameside	Ø CCTV footage of drug dealing- no one came out. Ø Other incidents where calls have not been followed up. Ø How can you ask for co-operation of public when this is the case	Ø This can be investigated as it is not acceptable. Ø Public should be given explanation and come back as it does not meet force policy.

Ø More success in prosecutions Ø Police are now notified when offenders are relaxed and visit them to warn that they will be under observations. Ø Offenders have conditions applied to their release. Ø Calls are recorded for quality purpose – this is randomly checked Ø If you experience problems you can ask to speak to supervisor. Ø Community support officers

Denton	Ø Police attitude to people riding bikes on pavements? Ø It relates to children but some adults also use the pavements	Ø Would like to think that it is a common sense approach depending on age of cyclists. Ø If officers or patrollers come cross incidences can issue advice and also fixed penalties
