Questionnaire on T3SC newsletters

It’s a new year and a new start for T3SC’s newsletters. I am the new Information and Marketing Worker at T3SC and would like to take the opportunity to find out more on how the Newsletters are used and if they are fulfilling their full potential. So we have put together a very brief questionnaire to see what you’d like to see in both the paper and E-newsletters? Do you get both the E-newsletter and the paper Newsletter? How are they useful?

If you can spare a few minutes to complete the questionnaire and email it to me with your thoughts and ideas I would really appreciate it. This is your chance to change the Newsletters to suit you! Thanks Hannah Powell

T3SC new design website

We have started to give the website a bit of a revamp, trying to make it more attractive, easier to read and with the information you want to find. Have a look at our new Homepage.

What do you think? Please contact Hannah Powell with your suggestions - did you find what you were looking for? Do you like the new look? How can we improve it? If you also find any broken links please contact Hannah and we will fix them ASAP. Thank you.

Branching Out’s funding success

Branching Out the young peoples Drug and Alcohol service has started the New Year with some good news.

Their bid to Comic Relief has been successful. This means that they have secured three years funding for an alcohol worker to be based within the service in Ashton centre. The role will mainly maintain clients who have difficulties with alcohol use.

The funding is a welcome boost to the project and they are very excited about starting a new piece of work.

Tameside Radio's Community Noticeboard

A message from Maria Bailey from Tameside Radio
You will by now be aware that Tameside Radio has been broadcasting live throughout the Borough for a little over three months now. We are here to help all community and voluntary groups to get their messages out to the people at large.

For this purpose, we broadcast a daily 'Community Noticeboard' where all non profit making organisations can tell the people of Tameside about their regular meetings and events. If you complete the form below and email it to Maria Bailey, we can announce your events in this slot.

If you would like, you can come into the station and pre-record an interview. Its not as scary as you might think! You can actually do both if you wish – that’s what were here for.

You may just want to come into the station and have a look around and see what a great local radio station Tameside has. We really need your help now as we require much more community content for the station to broadcast.

Please help us  by contacting Maria on: maria@tamesideradio.com
or 0161 343 8446.
Maria L Bailey, Community Engagement Director
